Who It’s For
Young dancers ages 3–10, taking their very first graceful steps into ballet.
Graceful Steps Ballet School takes a unique approach to fuse Christian values with the elegance of ballet. It is a place where young dancers not only learn the basic technicalities of ballet, but also develop character and discipline.
Graceful Steps’ mission is to cultivate a love for dance that is wholesome, beautiful, uplifting, and rooted in Christian values.
The philosophy at Graceful Steps centers around the idea that dance is not just a physical activity but a form of worship and expression of one’s faith. Students are encouraged to see their talent as a gift from God, to be used for His glory and the betterment of the community.
We want students to learn gracefulness both on and off the stage.
The focus at Graceful Steps is to build a strong foundation by learning technique rather than just memorizing parts for a single recital dance. While performance is not a primary goal, dancers will have an opportunity to showcase their skills while spreading messages of hope and love at the end of the dance season.
Students meet once a week to learn basic ballet technique — alongside the values that help them grow with intention, on and off the stage.

Everything you need before your dancer’s first class.
Tuition is $30 per month ($25 for toddler class) due at the first class of each month. A late fee of $10 will be added after the second week of class and for each week following that payment is not made.
Parents are welcome to observe their child’s class. Regular parent visitation is not generally encouraged, however — it can distract the other dancers in the class and it can be hard for the child to focus while their parent is watching. (Regular visitation for toddler class is welcome.)
Black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Skirts may be worn, but must be above the knee. Hair pulled back and tightly fastened.
No gum, drinks, candy, or food in the classroom at any time. (Students are allowed to bring a water bottle.) Electronics are not allowed in the classroom.
My name is Zoey Williamson. I am 18 years old. I am so grateful to have studied ballet at Clytie Adams School of Ballet for several years. I have absolutely loved all of my ballet experience. To me, ballet has become a beautiful expression of grace and joy. I have always wanted to share that with others, and teaching ballet has been my dream.
I also believe that what we take into our lives through our music, our books, our screens, what we occupy our leisure time with, all has a profound impact on our spirits and the joy we are able to find. I wanted to create a dance environment that was wholesome and uplifting — where students not only learned basic ballet, but also learned an appreciation for those things that are good and beautiful; a place where they could come to appreciate the amazing creation that our bodies are, and to use them for good.
I know there are a lot of dance options out there, and that I am a young teacher, but I hope beginner dancers here will find something that will spark a light in them that they can carry with them for a lifetime.
